HMSHost Opens 3 New Dining Options At DAY

March 03, 2010

Three new food and beverage brands have opened at Dayton International (DAY), courtesy of HMSHost Corp. and the city of Dayton.

Starbucks is brewing its coffee for post-security travelers on Concourse C. In addition to coffee, menu options include pastries, sandwiches and salads.

Also on Concourse C, the 12th Fairway Bar & Grill is a mix of a European golf clubhouse and an American bar and grill, offering three meals a day with fare such as sandwiches, entrees and salads, and a full bar specializing in unique scotch selections.

In the post-security area of Concourse B, Quiznos offers made-to-order sandwiches, grab-and-go salads, and comfort food, such as chicken noodle soup, corn chowder and chili.

“HMSHost has delivered on its promise to make the traveler’s day better at Dayton International Airport,” says Said Iftikhar Ahmad, director of aviation for the city of Dayton. “These new restaurant brands are what travelers told us they want, and we are very pleased to offer them to pre- and post-security visitors, whether they’re arriving or departing the city of Dayton.”

Local favorite Boston Stoker Gourmet Coffee has updated its existing main terminal location, now offering an expanded menu and seating area. It can be found pre-security.

“An airport known as the birthplace of aviation deserves to be distinguished by excellence in service to travelers, highlighted by an outstanding food and beverage concessions program,” says Stephen Douglas, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “We are privileged to partner with Dayton International Airport to provide its travelers such an experience with the dining brands they prefer.”
